1. The Initiative is organized by Agora S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw, Poland, Czerska 8/10 Street (00-732), the publisher of Newsmavens. The Initiative is carried out by the means of a form available on the Newsmavens website. The initiative is aimed at female journalists, freelancers, activists, and women who feel that there is a need to raise awareness of topics connected to women (their situation, achievements, the dangers they face, etc.). The Initiative consists in Newsmavens sharing links (possibly with a commentary) to press releases or social media posts based on the submissions and recommendations of the Users.

2. The User can send materials on a significant issue connected to women – an article or video published in a paper/a local news website or a post on social media, in any European language – via the form provided by Newsmavens. The submission can include a recommendation explaining why the given issue deserves attention. The Newsmavens editorial team can publish the recommendation in its entirety or part and edit it for publication. It is prohibited to send links or recommendations, which – when published on the Newsmavens website – would lead to any infringement of a right or rights of a third party or individual. The editors can also use the recommendation to create their own commentary on the subject covered in the indicated material.

3. The User who would like her recommendation to be published alongside the link under her name and surname, pseudonym or initial should indicate the manner in which the recommendation should be signed in the following space in the form: “HOW SHOULD WE SIGN YOU?” . If the name and surname, pseudonym or initials are not provided, the Newsmavens editorial team reserves the right to publish the recommendation without indicating its author.

4. The User who wishes her recommendation to be accompanied by a link to her social media profile should provide a link to that profile in the following space in the form: “LINK TO YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILE” .

5. The User who wishes her recommendation to include information about whether she is a journalist, expert or committed citizen should choose the relevant option in the following space in the form: “I am a journalist/I am an expert/I am engaged citizen” .

6. Providing a link to a press material and/or a recommendation does not necessarily mean that they will be published. The final decision concerning the publication of the link/recommendation will be made by the Newsmavens editorial team.

7. The User can withdraw the submitted recommendation and/or link or change her decision regarding the included signature at any time – you can inform us of your decision by sending an e-mail to newsmavens@newsmavens.com .

8. Taking part in this Initiative does not entitle the Users to any form of payment – the User does not have the right to demand pay if the submitted link or recommendation is published by Newsmavens.
