Three sisters suspected of contracting STI from father

A UK family court found that three sisters, all under the age of 10, may have contracted for a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) from their father.

Why this story matters:

Three sisters who all tested positive for sexually transmitted infection are set to be the subject of a court investigation. The three children, all under the age of ten, are believed to have contracted the infection from their father -- a claim he denies.

A family court came to this conclusion earlier, however, further investigation has ensued following the father's appeal.

The girls and their family have experienced an mix of housing situations over the past year, living in hotels and caravans to name a few. The family had been evicted from at least one property during 2017 and another in 2018. All three girls are now under foster care.
